Oasis Tower: Skyscraper Conceptual Lighting Design | Digital, 2019

A conceptual architectural lighting proposal to support eco-conscious living in the “Garden City” of Singapore, the greenest city in Asia.

Sunset Lighting

Each balcony features a private garden illuminated by a frosted LED sphere of light that gives the impression of a small sun.

The water will be amplified by a rich blue lighting palette to create the illusion that the building is floating.

Dusk Lighting

As it becomes darker, the lights will slowly shift to a deep, soothing amber to promote healthy circadian rhythms for residents.

In the early evening, the upper portion of the building will be illuminated solely by these spherical lights, creating the appearance of a honeycomb of floating gardens from a distance.

Night Lighting

As it gets later and residents turn off their balcony lights, the concrete lines of the tower and the entry bridge will light up with a field of LED fiber-optic stars, mirroring the surrounding night sky.

The colors of the pedestal, bridge, and fiber-optic stars can be changed for special events, celebrations, and holidays.
